Insert Your Own Images, Links, Videos and More…

Special coding allows you to add captions underneath the images by adding text into the Caption field.

If you want you can add captions underneath your images by placing text into the Caption field.

The Website Solution also includes the ability for you to add your own images to your pages and news posts, to align them – left, right or center, and we have even included a piece of coding that allows you to add captions underneath the images, such as the one shown to the right.

You can also make hyperlinks to other pages of your own site, or to other websites, and also, if requested, to even embed YouTube or other videos into your pages.

The video below will show you how to easily insert images.

Inserting Links

Link ButtonTo insert a link or to make some of your text into a hyperlink, simply type the text you want and highlight it, then click on the hyperlink button (see the icon image here to the right), and paste the address that you want the link to go to into the first field of the dialogue box that appears.

If you want it to open a new browser window (not recommended for links within your own website), select “Open link in new window” in the Target field.

Embedding Videos

If you want to place a video onto your web page, simply click on the button according to where the video is from, e.g. YouTube, and paste the web address of the video (on YouTube) into the field that appears.  Then save the page.

And more…

And there are also many other things you can do, such as make text in bold or italic, or both, underline it, colour it, align or indent it, or add different sizes of ‘H2′ and ‘H3′ sub-headings, as I have done here.

A Professionally Designed Style Sheet

The whole thing works with a professionally designed Style Sheet I’ve developed that is already installed, so you don’t have to worry about anything.  Your site will naturally have the same professional consistency that a newspaper or book has - unless you choose to change it.
